About Transportation East Inc.
Transportation East Inc. is an accessible transportation service for Islanders in Kings County.

This organization was formed as a result of community partners and stakeholders coming together to help address the challenges faced by individuals in our area. Our service is provided for seniors, people with disabilities and low-income Islanders, allowing equal transportation services for all.

Our service operates on a regular Monday to Friday schedule and will provide evening and weekend services as needed. Transportation East Inc. service area will include all communities east of the boundary line which will extend through an area including Mt. Stewart, Avondale, Orwell Cove, to Point Prim.
We provide accessible transportation services for seniors, people with disabilities and low-income Islanders. Our vehicles are equipped with features such as wheelchair lifts and ramps to ensure that everyone can travel with ease.
We specialize in providing transportation services for special events, medical appointments, and other specialized transportation needs. Our team is dedicated to making your transportation experience as smooth as possible.
Meet The Team
Wade Czank
Wade was our first driver hired with Transportation East in September, 2023. Wade has been providing excellent service to our ridership ever since.
Gerald Cressman
Gerald, our second driver, began in January, 2024. In a short amount of time, Gerald is liked by many of those he transports to and from appointments.
Lisa Chaisson
Lisa joined Transportation East as Coordinator, beginning in February, 2024. It's most often Lisa's voice you'll hear when you call to reserve a space or enquire about our services.
